General Inquiries

You have a right to share my work, for as long as you ask for my permission and credit me. If you would like to use my work in any way beyond simply sharing it or have any other inquiries, feel free to contact me. Be confident that I won’t misuse your information. You have three options:

Send a contact form to the right.

Plagiarism and hate (subjective criticism) will not be acceptable. Also take note that if you use the form to the right, you will need to enter a valid email address for me to reply back to you.

Commissions

You can request a commission by sending a contact form above, messaging me on social media, or emailing me at the address listed. Comments are welcome, but I’ll direct longer conversations to email for clarity. I only create kid-friendly artwork, and I primarily take on projects that support the professional image I’m building as a children’s book writer and illustrator. I may post finished commissions in my portfolio unless the client requests otherwise. All artwork is hand-illustrated by me; I do not use AI in any part of my creative process.

Rates & Payment

I charge $40 per hour. The final price depends on the estimated time needed for the artwork. This rate is firm and reflects my experience and the professional quality of my work. Once a commission is accepted, the client pays half upfront and half upon completion. I accept payments securely through PayPal. If you prefer Upwork’s escrow system, I can set up the project there upon request.

Process

I will provide several sketches for you to choose from. Once a sketch is approved, I will continue with the final artwork. If you request changes to an already-approved stage, an additional fee will apply based on the time required. For multi-image commissions, each illustration follows this same process and is billed individually as completed. Finished artwork is delivered as a PNG file. I do not provide physical products.

Refunds & Cancellations

If a commission is canceled before I begin, you’ll receive a full refund. If I am unable to start the commission for any reason, you’ll also receive a full refund. Once work has begun, refunds are not available. I reserve the right to cancel and refund a commission at any time.

Copyright & Usage

I retain all artistic copyright to the final artwork, and the client retains the intellectual property rights to their original characters or ideas (unless the commission involves existing copyrighted characters). Clients may share the completed artwork online with credit, but may not use it for commercial purposes, edit or alter the work without permission, resell or profit from the artwork, or claim authorship.

Fan Art Policy

I accept fan-art commissions for personal use only. If the artwork is intended for any commercial purpose, the client must obtain licensing or permission from the copyright holder before I can proceed.

These terms may be updated as I take on more commissions.
